macOS Sandbox Detonations Offline While We Upgrade for Tahoe Support

Providing the best possible user experience for our community is always the top priority for Hybrid Analysis. On rare occasions, that can mean specific features being temporarily taken offline in order to make meaningful improvements. Our Mac Sandbox environment is currently undergoing a planned hardware upgrade that is scheduled to be complete the week of April 13. 

Following our recent upgrade of the Linux Sandbox environment to support Ubuntu 24, we are excited to announce upcoming support for macOS 26 (Tahoe). Achieving this requires new hardware installation within the macOS Sandbox environment. This investment will also position us to seamlessly support future macOS releases. Please note that with migration to the new OS versions, we will be sunsetting the macOS Catalina and Ubuntu 20 Sandbox environments. 

All other features of hybridanalysis.com will continue to be fully operational during this process. 

We thank our community for your loyalty and look forward to continuing to be your preferred choice for free malware analysis. Once again, interruption to Hybrid Analysis users will be minimal and limited to macOS Sandbox detonations, with full functionality for that environment expected to resume the week of April 13. If anything changes in terms of timing for the macOS Sandbox upgrade, we will update this post.
